Hello to all Untamed readers. My name is Dominik Tomczyk, and I primarily focus on women's photography—sensual, boudoir, and nude art. I live in a small town near Amsterdam but photograph throughout the Netherlands.

How would you describe your visual style in 3 words?

What’s something unique about how you shoot or approach a session?

I would define my visual style as style, taste, and moment.

My goal is for the entire creative process to lead to a finished photo with minimal or without editing. This means paying attention to detail during the photoshoot. The atmosphere during the shoot is important to me, to bring out true emotions and showcase not only the model's outer beauty but also her personality.

What do people feel when they see your work—and what do you want them to feel?

My work is appreciated for its naturalness and the emotions visible on the models' faces. Often, it's these emotions captured in the frame that make someone pause for a moment while viewing my photographs. I strive to create photographs that tell a story, capture a moment, and leave fond memories.

How do you prepare for a shoot? Any rituals or must-haves?

Walk us through your creative process—from concept to final edit.

What gear do you swear by—and what’s your approach to editing?

A good photo must first be conceived in your head. It must be well-thought-out. The first step is choosing a location and carefully examining it in terms of available light. Similarly, styling must be carefully considered beforehand. I like to discuss my plans with the model on-site. Because I prefer to have my photos ready in-camera, I need to consider the appropriate use of available light or flash beforehand. Even when I use flash, I try to keep it understated, only highlighting and bringing out what I want to show. Therefore, my editing is kept to a minimum.

What do you want your work to say about you, even when you’re not in the room?

If someone’s looking at your portfolio 10 years from now, what do you hope they see?

I hope that when you look at my portfolio in 10 years, you'll see a multitude of fulfilled photographic dreams, stories captured in the frame, and above all, works that inspire others.

I want to be known not only as a photographer who takes a photo, but as a photographer who transforms the session into an experience and an event that reveals the inner woman posing.

I want my work to showcase the beauty of the female body, the harmony of shapes, the emotional moments that accompany a session, and to inspire other women to feel beautiful, confident, and brave.

From the very beginning, I've been passionate about photography. It was fun and a hobby, and I want this spontaneous energy to continue, because there's nothing better than photographing with passion.

What’s one truth about your creative journey that’s stayed with you?

What’s something about you people don’t usually see in your work—but should?

I want others to see that such a session isn't just about photos, but for many ordinary women, it's a form of self-acceptance therapy, and behind every photo there's a story of women.
