Leon Abraham
“Meet
Our
Model”

Can you tell us a little about yourself and how you started your modeling career?
My name is Leon Abraham, and I’m a model based in Houston, Texas. My journey into modeling came later in life after a major personal transformation through health, fitness, and discipline. What started as improving myself physically became a bigger confidence shift that opened doors I never expected. From there, I began building a portfolio, attending castings, and stepping into runway and editorial opportunities. It all started from my Barber submitting a picture and it end of going to a modeling Agency, I got casted and they loved my look and I got signed. I wasn't expecting this to happen at all but I am loving the opportunity and trying to do my best.
What inspired you to become a model?
I was inspired by the idea that reinvention is possible. Modeling became more than photos or fashion for me. It became proof that growth can happen at any stage of life and age. I wanted to challenge limits, represent confidence, and show others that it is never too late to pursue something new.
Have you faced any challenges in the modeling industry? If so, how did you overcome them?
Absolutely. One challenge has been entering an industry where many people start younger and already have years of experience. Another challenge is staying consistent while balancing family, work, and responsibilities outside of modeling. I overcame those challenges by focusing on discipline, professionalism, and constant self improvement. I’ve learned that consistency can compete with timing.
How do you prepare for a big shoot or runway show?
Preparation starts well before the event. I focus on fitness, hydration, rest, and mindset. I also review the mood of the shoot or show so I can understand the energy being asked for. For runway, I practice posture, pace, and confidence. For shoots, I focus on versatility and being ready to take direction.
How would you describe your modeling style?
My modeling style is versatile, confident, and intentional. I enjoy moving between editorial, commercial, fitness, and runway. I like bringing strength and presence to a photo while still keeping authenticity. Whether it is a clean luxury look or an athletic concept, I want every image to feel real and strong.
Do you prefer editorial, commercial, or runway modeling, and why?
I appreciate all three because they each challenge different skills, but editorial stands out to me because it allows storytelling, creativity, and emotion in one frame. Runway is exciting because of the live energy, and commercial is powerful because it connects directly with people.
How do you stay motivated and continue growing as a model?
I stay motivated by remembering where I started. Every opportunity means something because I know the work it took to get here. I also stay motivated by growth, improving my portfolio, learning the business side, and continuing to prove that determination can create new chapters in life.

What are your biggest career goals for the future?
My biggest goals are to work with respected brands, expand into national campaigns, walk major runway shows, and continue building an international presence through editorials and publications. I also want to use my platform to inspire others through health, confidence, and perseverance.
Do you have any dream collaborations or brands you'd love to work with?
I’d love to work with brands in fashion, fitness, fragrance, and luxury lifestyle. Collaborations that value confidence, style, and authenticity are especially exciting to me.
What advice would you give to aspiring models looking to break into the industry?
Believe in your timing. Many people think there is one perfect age or one perfect path, but success can come in different ways. Invest in yourself, stay professional, build strong images, network respectfully, be kind, be respectful, and stay consistent. Rejection is part of the process, not the end of it.
Final Thoughts
Modeling has become more than a career path for me. It represents growth, courage, and the willingness to evolve. I’m grateful for every opportunity and excited for what’s ahead.
Thank you again for featuring me.
